Kia Motors has officially launched the new-generation Kia Sonet Facelift in the Indian market, revealing details about its booking availability. The new Kia Sonet Facelift booking is set to commence in the Indian market in a few days. This refreshed version boasts several design updates, advanced features, and safety systems.

Booking Details

The booking for the Kia Sonet Facelift in the Indian market begins on December 20, 2023, with the official unveiling slated for December 14, 2023. Anticipations suggest deliveries will commence in the new year, signifying its entry into the Indian market. Some dealerships have already started accepting bookings unofficially.

Design Upgrades

The new-generation Kia Sonet showcases a redesigned front profile featuring a new honeycomb grille, an LED headlight setup with LED DRLs, and a silver skid plate alongside new alloy wheels. The SUV boasts chrome finishing at a significant level, coupled with black roof rails and blackout pillars, enhancing its overall appeal. The rear also undergoes a makeover, flaunting connected LED tail lamp units with a silver skid plate and rear stop lamp mount, giving it a sportier look than its predecessor.

Advanced Features

Inside, the vehicle offers a 10.25-inch digital touchscreen. Noteworthy interior additions include height-adjustable driver seats, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, wireless charging, an electronic sunroof, and an upgraded premium sound system, providing an elevated driving experience.

Safety at Its Core

Regarding safety, the Kia Sonet Facelift comes equipped with Level 1 ADAS technology encompassing 11 features. These include Front Collision Warning, Front Collision-Avoidance Assistance, Lane Keep Assist, Pedestrian Assistance, Auto High Beam Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Electronic Stability Control, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and Six Airbags, ensuring a comprehensive safety suite.

Engine Variants and Price Range

The Kia Sonet Facelift 2024 offers engine options such as 1.0L Turbo-Petrol, 1.2L Petrol, and 1.5L Diesel with transmission variants including 6-speed iMT, 7-speed DCT, 5-speed Manual, and 6-speed Automatic. The expected price range for this updated version is anticipated to fall between 8 Lakhs and 15 Lakhs INR (Ex-showroom).

Upon its launch, the Kia Sonet Facelift will contend with established rivals in the Indian market, such as Tata Nexon Facelift, Hyundai Venue, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Fronx, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Mahindra XUV300.
