German automotive giant Mercedes-Benz is preparing for the grand launch of its two highly awaited models: the AMG GLE 53 4MATIC plus coupe and the 2024 GLA.
The launch of these two models has been scheduled for January 31. The AMG GLE 53 was showcased a year ago and is set to make its official debut in a highly performance-oriented AMG version. Whereas, the 2024 GLA has undergone various design and car interior changes.
The brand shared information about launching the facelift models in Delhi. Here is what ardent car lovers can expect from these upcoming models.
Mercedes-Benz GLA Facelift 2024
When it comes to the exterior of the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLA facelift, it is going to have all LED lighting, wheel arches, etc., which will match the exterior of the car. This will replace the black plastic on the outgoing car. However, there have been minute changes made to the cabin.
Inside this new facelift by Mercedes-Benz GLA, it is going to be equipped with an updated MBUX infotainment system—Android Auto, ambient lighting, along wireless Apple CarPlay.
Also, the heart of this car, the Mercedes-Benz GLA facelift, is going to be available in mainly two engine options. The first one will be a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine with 163 HP, whereas the next option is a 2.0-litre diesel engine with 190 HP.
The 2024 GLA facelift by Mercedes-Benz is expected to be around Rs. 48 lakh, which is the ex-showroom and pan-India price.
Mercedez-Benz: AMG GLE 53 Coupe facelift
The front of this GLE coupe facelift by Mercedes-Benz is going to be somewhat similar to the GLE, which is its SUV sibling. The 2024 GLE 53 Coupe is going to be available in AMG form in India.
Also, this is similar to its pre-facelift model. However, like the GLE coupe, it will be available only for the Indian audience in hardcore AMG form and a 53 moniker.
However, when it comes to its mechanical specifications, the luxury coupe is going to be equipped with a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. Along with this, it will have a 48V mild-hybrid system and is going to generate the highest power of 457 HP.
When it comes to the engine of the AMG GLE 53 Coupe facelift, it is expected to be powered by a nine-speed automatic transmission. Also, it will be powered by a 4Matic AWD system.
The pricing of the AMG GLE 53 Coupe facelift is estimated to be around Rs. 1.3 crore, which is an ex-showroom and pan-India price.
