Tata Punch EV

Tata Motors has finally launched the highly anticipated Punch EV, starting at an attractive price of Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This micro-electric SUV is sure to shake up the Indian EV market with its impressive range, stylish design, and packed features.

Unveiling the Tata Punch EV: A Blend of Style and Innovation

The Punch EV boasts a reimagined front fascia, drawing inspiration from the Currv concept and the aesthetic updates of the Nexon EV facelift. A sleek LED strip runs across the bonnet and new vertically stacked twin-pod LED headlamps and fog lamps sit in the revised front bumper. The closed-off nose and sleek air dams add to the modern and futuristic look.

While the side profile and silhouette remain largely unchanged from the petrol-powered Punch, the 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels are a standout feature. The rear too is familiar, with the Y-shaped LED tail lamps and sculpted tailgate. A unique touch is the faux silver skid plate at the rear bumper.

Tata Motors offers the Punch EV in five attractive dual-tone colour schemes: Empowered Oxide, Seaweed, Fearless Red, Daytona Grey, and Pristine White, all with a black roof and pillars.

Tata Punch EV’s interior

It has a different layout than that of its ICE sibling when you step inside. The dual-tone theme, featuring a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, rectangular air vents with chrome surrounds, and a fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster, is sure to impress.

Other notable features include touch-sensitive HVAC controls, Tata’s new two-spoke illuminated steering wheel, a 360-degree surround-view camera, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats, a wireless smartphone charger, Harman audio system, LED fog lamps with cornering function, an air purifier, automatic LED headlamps, a voice-operated electric sunroof, and connected car tech via the Arcade.ev App suite.

Tata Motors hasn’t compromised on safety, either. The Punch EV comes loaded with six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC) as standard, a blind view monitor, three-point seat belts for all seats, ISOFIX mounts, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, SOS function, hill descent control, hill hold control, and all-four disc brakes.

Tata Punch EV Powertrain Specifications

Tata Motors offers two battery options with different motor specs in the Punch EV:
