Bajaj Chetak Urbane launched, starting at Rs. 1.15 lakhs

The wait is over; Bajaj has rolled out its upgraded 2024 Chetak Urbane. The Chetak is a crowd-pleaser electric scooter. The company came up with two versions to suit the preferences of all. The standard model is priced at Rs. 1.15 lakh, whereas the feature-laden or upgraded model ‘Tecpac’ is priced at Rs. 1.21 lakh.

Bajaj Auto silently introduced their Chetak Urbane 2024 in the Indian market. They have updated their maiden electric scooter for 2024. The latest Chetak Urbane will be sold along with the top-spec and premium variants.

The design of the Bajaj Chetak Urban is the same compared of the older model. But the upgrades have been made to the internals. It is feature-loaded, which will steal your heart in one go.

The battery and charging time of the Bajaj Chetak Urbane 

Under the hood, the Urbane variant of Bajaj Cheetak has the same potent 2.9 kWH battery. It comes with two different riding modes, which are eco and sport. This is similar to its predecessor. But it also has an IDC-certified single charge range of 113 km. This electric scooter’s premium variant also comes with an ARAI-certified range of around 108km. No doubt, the overall experience of an electric scooter will be redefined with the Bajaj Chetak Urbane.

The standard variant of this scooter has a high speed of 63 kmph and aligns with the existing model. Whereas, the Tecpac variant has better power with an exhilarating top speed of 73 kmph.

When it comes to Bajaj Chetak Urbane’s charging time, it has gotten better. Now the charging time is 4 hours, 50 minutes, as compared to its predecessor. Also, the charging rate has decreased from 800W to 650W.

Exciting features and color options of the Bajaj Chetak Urbane 

There are many exciting color options available in Bajaj Chetak Urbane. You can get it in matte coarse grey, cyber white, black, and even indigo metallic color options.

The other feature upgrades in Bajaj Chetak Urbane involve sports mode, hill-hold assist, app connectivity, and easy reverse mode. It also has a bright-color LCD instrument cluster in Chetak’s Tecpac variant. The other features involve LED headlamps with DRLs, LED turn lights, and even feather-touch electronic switches.

The Urbane and premium variants of Chetak have additional color options along with a front disc brake. When it comes to suspension, it has a one-sided spring-loaded front suspension. And at the back, the scooter has a monoshock.
